Bremara House began with a simple idea: a home feels calmer when the objects in it are few, considered and made from materials you can see and touch. Clay, stone, wood, willow and linen, in a palette of cream, sand and charcoal green.
We started the brand in 2026 as two friends who kept noticing the same thing. Most decor is either loud and seasonal, or beautiful but out of reach. We wanted something in between: quiet pieces with a clear idea behind them, priced for real homes, and described honestly enough that you know exactly what will arrive at your door.
How a Bremara House piece is designed
Every design starts with one material and one gesture. For the Solenne Vase it was an arch that passes straight through the body, so the wall behind it becomes part of the piece. For the Caelo Tray it was a fluted edge that catches the light. For the Esmera Runner it was a single woven stripe in our charcoal green. We keep each design to that one idea and remove everything else.
From there we work on proportion and color. Our palette is deliberately short: sand, stone, bone, moss and charcoal green. Pieces from different collections are meant to sit together on the same shelf or table without competing, so you can add to a room over time instead of starting again each season.
How our pieces are made
Our designs are produced with established manufacturing partners who specialise in each material: stoneware and glazes, cement and terrazzo, willow and rattan weaving, solid wood, powder-coated iron and stonewashed linen. Before a design goes into production we review physical samples for shape, finish, color and size, and we only approve a piece once it matches the design.
Because many of our pieces are glazed, woven or finished by hand at some stage, small variations in speckle, glaze tone and weave are normal and are part of the character of natural materials. Where that applies, we say so on the product page.
The collections
- Clay & Stone. Stoneware vases, a wide decorative bowl, a fluted cement tray and half-moon bookends. Solid, sculptural forms made for display.
- Woven & Wood. Lidded willow baskets, an oak and cane tray, a linen table runner, a waffle-weave throw and slim iron taper holders.
- Quiet Walls. Framed abstract prints, woven seagrass wall discs, an oak picture ledge, stoneware wall hooks and a woven wall hanging.
What you can expect from us
- Clear information. Real materials, measurements in inches and centimeters, and honest care notes on every product page.
- Decorative pieces described as decorative. Our ceramics and cement pieces are made for display, and we never claim more than a piece is designed to do.
- Straightforward policies. Free US shipping on orders of $70 or more, tracked delivery, and 30-day returns on unused items in their original packaging. Full details are in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
- Real people answering. Questions go to our small team, not a bot.
Caring for your pieces
Wipe stoneware, cement and wood with a soft, dry cloth. Keep woven pieces away from damp and direct heat. Wash linen and cotton as shown on the care label, and let them dry flat. Specific care notes for each piece are on its product page.
